The dependency on fossil fuels like coal, natural gas, and oil has surged in recent years. Many environmentalists argue that alternate techniques are needed since many businesses and economies rely on fossil fuels. In my opinion, I agree that fossil fuels affect individuals in the most treacherous ways. In the forthcoming paragraphs, I shall explain my point of view and give supporting reasons.
Fossil fuel resources are finite, and using them at such a high rate will eventually them and ultimately lead to depletion. Coal-burning must be halted, as it contributes to poor air quality. In addition, hazardous gas emissions wreak havoc on the ecosystem. As a result, it would have a catastrophic effect on all species on the planet, including humans, raising the chance of death from stroke, heart disease, lung cancer, and respiratory sickness in individuals who are exposed. Moreover, the continued use of fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and gases is causing dangerous levels of global warming.
Scientists claim that individuals cannot continue burning fossil fuels, as it has dangerous impacts on climate change. Immediate efforts, such as switching to renewable energy, , else the earth will reach its tipping points fast where it would be in a state beyond repair. Extreme heat waves, droughts, sea-level rise, arctic melting, and other hazardous health concerns will eventually be reduced if humans can decrease their use of fossil fuels.
Admittedly fossil fuels are very important economically and used to produce energy. Yet, fossil fuels emit pollutants into the atmosphere, including carbon dioxide, which is a major contributor to climate change.
To sum up, continued fossil fuel consumption would have pernicious effects on humans. Hence,
developing innovative ways to create energy that does not rely on fossil fuels is critical today, as burning them has a detrimental impact on human health.
