Read an accessible description

Maps of Porth Harbour in 2000 and today, with the main road on the west and the harbour opening to the east. The northern public beach, passenger-ferry area, dock, lifeboat and two car parks remain. Today the fishing-boats and private-yacht marinas have exchanged north-south positions, the dock holds two boats instead of one, another showers-and-toilets block has been added, and cafés and shops occupy the former southern waterfront. The disused castle has become a hotel and the adjacent southern public beach is now private for hotel guests.
