Over the last 50 years, computer technology has been increasing in modern society. Almost everything is done . It became a common part of everyday life. Some people think that have made our life more comfortable, but others have a negative attitude. In my opinion, there are many benefits of using computers. This argument will be proven by looking at how the computer contributes to our society. One of the main advantages of computers is that we get information via the internet. It has made around the world. For example, it is convenient to sit at home and do research on the internet with your computer. Your computer is 24 hours a day, unlike a library or office. You can get the latest news more quickly and conveniently. This example makes it clear that it is possible to get almost any kind of information from anywhere. In addition to this, many people do their jobs with the help of computer technology. For instance, an aeroplane is a form of transportation that our lives are now faster . This transportation is realised by computer technology. It helps to control . It also architects for designing their buildings. As my example shows, computers have positive effects on human life. To sum up, we are living in the computer age. We can now do our tasks more easily. Thus, computers have made life .

Overall assessment
Why this response received Band 6.0
The response clearly maintains the opinion that computers make life easier and offers two relevant reasons. However, it is written as one continuous paragraph, and the aeroplane example does not clearly explain the connection between computer technology and convenience. Frequent grammatical errors and imprecise wording further weaken the explanation.

How each score was decided
Task Response
6.0The response presents a clear position throughout, addresses the question, and develops two relevant main ideas, though the second example is muddled and support is uneven.
Coherence and Cohesion
5.5The response moves from an opinion through two reasons to a conclusion, using clear signposts. However, there are no paragraph breaks, and the confused explanation of the aeroplane example interrupts the logical flow of the second reason.
Lexical Resource
6.0Vocabulary is adequate for the task with some appropriate items such as 'contributes to our society', but it is limited in range and includes awkward or inaccurate usages like 'sky roads'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy
5.5A mix of simple and complex structures is attempted, but frequent errors in articles, verb forms, and voice ('to use of', 'uses by architects') reduce accuracy and at times obscure meaning.
