Sport is a very important thing in our life and it plays an integral role in keeping us healthy. There are many types of sports, for example, fighting sports, water sports, . Some of these sports are dangerous like mixed martial arts and mountain climbing.

Many people prefer these dangerous sports and keep practising them regularly. I think they love to do so because they may feel a lack of confidence, so they try to through doing these dangerous sports. Besides that, some people may have problems in dealing with others as they might be treated in an impolite and crude way, so they need to learn and practice fighting sports to be able to defend themselves. The most striking feature, in my opinion, is the stress in addition to the negative energy that many people have, they need to release their stress by practising dangerous sports .

I tend to people should be trained well by professional coaches before they start playing these to minimise any danger that may occur during this practice. Also, some restrictions should be done for these sports and they should be related to age, as the small children and young ages should be avoided from practising this kind of sports because to deal with

Last but not least, governments and the concerned regulatory authorities should set rules to guide and control the practising of these dangerous sports, as one of their responsibilities is to keep their citizens safe.

Overall assessment

Why this response received Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the task, offering several plausible reasons for taking part in dangerous sports and a set of safety suggestions. Its strongest aspect is the relevant, adequately developed range of ideas, while the main limitation is the frequent grammatical inaccuracy and occasionally imprecise wording that obscure meaning at points.

Task Response

6.0

The response addresses both questions with a relevant position on motivations and workable suggestions, but ideas are developed unevenly and support remains somewhat limited and generalized.

Coherence and Cohesion

6.0

Progression is broadly clear with basic cohesive devices, yet paragraph organization is mechanical and some referencing and linking within sentences is faulty.

Lexical Resource

6.0

Vocabulary is adequate for the topic with some appropriate items like 'release their stress' and 'regulatory authorities', but there are noticeable imprecisions such as 'windsurf' and 'deal with their dangerous'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy

6.0

Simple and complex sentences communicate the main ideas, but control is uneven. "They may still young" omits be after the modal, and the sentence about negative energy joins independent clauses with a comma. The relative clauses using that are generally valid and do not establish a pattern of relative-structure errors.
