There is a heated debate between people believing that sports played in teams are more advantageous than sports played individually and those holding an opposite belief. As a matter of fact, I am an advocate of the former view. On the face of it, it is certainly true that being engaged in a sport all alone has some benefits. is freedom. can enjoy his own choice wherever and whenever he wants without depending on others. For instance, he can choose to go swimming in a swimming pool, a lake, or a river at any time of the day or year. However, what I strongly believe is that team sports provide us with far more advantages. The most noticeable of them is the team spirit that we can gain from such sports. This is easily understandable if football, the king sport, is taken into account. What we obtain from football is greater than we can imagine: the more we play it, the closer the fraternal bond is. This team spirit will result in mutual support in all facets of life, ranging from academic studies through employment opportunities to personal relationships. Thus, the sense of freedom gained from sports played on one’s own, which is often associated with selfishness, is definitely inferior to this great sense of team spirit, making it sufficient to say that individual sports bear no comparison with team sports. All things considered, it is now crystal-clear that playing sports in groups is superior to playing solo sports.

Overall assessment
Why this response received Band 7.0
The response fully addresses the discussion task with a clear personal stance and reasonably developed arguments for both sides. Its strongest aspect is the flexible vocabulary and varied sentence structures, while the main limitation is the somewhat assertive, under-evidenced reasoning, particularly the unsupported equation of individual sports with selfishness.
