Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to inform you of the incorrect data that was written about my hometown in one of your most recent pieces that was published a day ago in your international travel magazine.

I believe you are confusing the Madhya Pradesh town of Chhindwara with the Maharashtra locality of Chinchwad. Since your magazine is highly read by tourists, I think it is crucial to provide accurate information to avoid misleading them. As a solution, I respectfully request that you republish the same post with the accurate details and some images of the tourist attractions in our beloved town.

I appreciate you taking the time to think about this. I’m eager to learn this case’s prompt outcome.

Your Sincerely,

Meghna Sahare

Overall assessment

The letter's strongest aspect is its clear, polite organisation, addressing all three required points in a suitable semi-formal register. The main limitation is its length: at 125 words it falls short of the 150-word minimum, so the correction, its importance, and the suggested solution are only briefly developed rather than fully expanded.

TA

Task Achievement

All three bullet points are addressed in an appropriately formal tone, but the response is 25 words below the 150-word minimum and each point, including the correction itself, is covered only briefly without fully developed detail.

6.0
CC

Coherence and Cohesion

Ideas progress logically through the three points with clear linking devices and well-managed paragraphing, so the message is easy to follow throughout.

7.0
LR

Lexical Resource

Vocabulary communicates the purpose clearly, with phrases such as “accurate information” and “tourist attractions”. However, “highly read” is an unnatural collocation, and “learn this case’s prompt outcome” is awkward; more precise wording would improve the formal request.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy

Complex structures, including relative clauses and a request with “that”, are generally controlled. The opening sentence is cumbersome because of repeated relative clauses, and “Your Sincerely” contains a possessive-form and capitalization slip, though the meaning remains clear.

What to work on next

Expand each bullet point with concrete detail, such as exactly what information was wrong, examples of how wrong details affect travellers, and specific steps for the magazine, so the letter reaches at least 150 words.
