Because of technology, today interact with each other in new ways. This essay will suggest that people have more regular contact, and that the interaction has changed from physical to digital I believe this is a negative development because humans need physical contact as part of their interaction to stay healthy. Technology has made it possible for people to have more regular contact with each other through social media. This is because smartphones have applications, like Facebook and WhatsApp, which are designed to make it easy to talk, write messages and send pictures to other people. As a result of this, the interaction between humans has also changed from mainly physical to mostly digital. For example, an average Swedish person interacts with 15 friends every day through social media but with two. Overall assessment

The main limitation is somewhat repetitive phrasing and simple vocabulary, along with occasional grammatical slips, which keep the language below fully flexible control.

IELTS criteria

How each score was decided

Task Response

7.0

The response addresses both questions directly, maintains a consistent negative position, and supports ideas with relevant, developed examples such as the Swedish contact statistics and the pandemic reference.

Coherence and Cohesion

7.0

Ideas progress logically across clearly organised paragraphs with effective linking devices, though some connectors like 'this is because' are repeated and cohesion is occasionally mechanical.

Lexical Resource

7.0

Vocabulary is generally sufficient and appropriately used for the topic (regular contact, physical meetings, mental illness), with some imprecision and repetition limiting flexibility.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy

7.0

A variety of sentence structures is used with generally good control, but errors such as 'making it is possible', 'only have physical contact', and tense inconsistency ('many people work from home' in a past context) show lapses rather than full flexibility.
